About Business Tender

Looking for a new supplier, equipment or service?

Business Tender is a completely free service available to not only existing members but also to the business community in Derbyshire as a whole.

The concept aims to provide local businesses and organisations the opportunity to source work through an etsablished network of information from a single, central point, the Just Derbyshire business portal. Yet another way of Derbsyhire Business ensuring the continued growth of the area.

The Tender Service is open to members and organisations who are looking for companies offering specific goods or services to bid for tenders submitted via the site.

Subscribing members also receive email notification when a relevant tender is submitted.

To start the process, click on Business Tender and fill out the form, we will then do a very quick check to make sure everything is in order and then it will be published on the Just Derbyshire site.

If we find anything that requires clarification, we will call or email you before the tender is placed on the site.

The form consists of the following:

Business Type (this is a drop down menu based on the business types on the left of every page), Business Name, Contact Name, Contact Email, Contact Phone, Title of the Tender, Your Reference Number, the Deadline date the tender expires, the start date of the contract, the end date of the contract, the estimated value, the type of tender (such as Hiring, purchasing, open etc), web site address where submissions can be made and a brief description of the tender.

Publishing your tender

Once published, any tender which has yet to expire will be shown in the relevant page when anyone clicks on a particular business type on the left.

If more than 5 tenders are available for any one business type, all tenders can be viewed via a link which will appear below the tenders.
