How do access keys work?
PC running Windows using Internet Explorer v5+:
Press and hold the ALT key, press the Access Key and then press ENTER.
PC running Windows using Google Chrome v3.x:
Press and hold the ALT key, press the Access Key and then press ENTER.
PC running Windows using Netscape v6+ or Mozilla (inc FireFox):
Press and hold the ALT key, then press the Access Key of your choice.
Macintosh computer using Internet Explorer v5+
Press and hold Control and then press the Access Key.
Please note that Access Keys are not supported by Opera or some earlier versions of the above web browsers.
Alternative methods of navigation.
Most modern browsers also allow for navigation links to be selected by using the TAB key. Pressing the TAB key (left side above the Caps Lock key) will rotate through all available links on the page and highlights them by placing a dotted line around the link.
If you go past the link you wish to visit you can hold down the SHIFT key and press the TAB key to reverse the order the links are highlighted. Once you have highlighted the link, press ENTER.
