Emergency Services in Derbyshire

Derbyshire has an extensive network of emergency and rescue services, particularly in the Peak District. Many of the support services such as the Air Ambulances and Mountain/Cave Rescues rely on donations to continue providing their service. We would encourage all businesses within Derbyshire to consider supporting one or more of these invaluable services.

In an emergency, please always call 999

If you require mountain rescue then ask for the Police and Mountain Rescue, give details of exact location and number in group and any injuries sustained.

If you break down on the Motorway or other major road, click here for advice on what to do. If you breakdown during inclement weather then click here for practical advice from the Highways Agency.
